Awesome!! I may have missed this, but do you already have rock? If not, what kind are you going to get?

I have a good portion of it. If I need more I will get some BRS macro rock. The rock I have was sitting in the sun this summer for about 2 weeks. I am not taking any chances with wet rock having any varmints:twitch:

The reason I ask, is that I don't think its in the budget to upgrade our 65 anytime soon, and hubby's little buddy Sailfin is getting bigger. He's going to be outgrowing our tank soon and I'd like him to go to a good home, we love him! He would definitely be a lot bigger than one you could normally get at the store....

ETA; I'm sure he will be fine here till your big tank is established and ready for him, but I don't see him staying in our tank by the end of the year. I would love for you to get him! He has a hammy personality, LOL! Had him since around June last year.

I am going to put the sugar sized sand around the base of the rock and then cover it with special grade sand.
