Jacqueline's Reef 290 Build

Man, that’s really nice work Dave! Very clean.

Everyone has their own opinions and experience with regards to CUCs. You got to go with what works for you. I prefer diversity, many snails and crabs are specialists or prefer one type of algae or forage over another. I try to get a few of as many different types as possible and let nature figure out who's going to prevail in my tank. I’d like to defend hermits for a sec. As opposed to snails, they can more easily adapt and don’t die off when their forage of choice is used up. They can’t clean glass but who really care because I can ;)

Your place in Aruba looks awesome! I hope you had a nice break

I have to say you make a lot of sense, when it comes to diversity, nature decides whats best, so I threw in the few hermits I had left in the nano when I took it down. :D

The new home and some new tank mates:fish2:

Great pictures!!! Wish I could have seen it in person

I am sure you will have other opportunity's to see it.:)

Awsome looking tank. I really need to do some work on mine to get it looking good again

Thanks man. Good to see you back on the boards:cool:

Love the fish choices so far. Tank looks a lot better with the fishes:D

Thanks Nook, It is nice to have something to look at. After the sand settles I am going to add a couple of yellow clowns, a sailfin desjardini tang, blond nasa and maybe one other tang. :fish1::fish2::fish1:

Get a hold of me before you decide to add the sailfin. I may have one I need to get rid of. ;)

Tank looks awesome!
