January Meeting - Mon 1/15

Meeting was great tonight, was very nice meeting everyone.

I will definitely be coming back, such a nice change to sit with people that understand your obsession.

Mary - Thank you for your hospitality and your frag, it's starting to swell up nice already.

WDS - thank you for the frags, The flourecent green hydnophora is absolutely glowing in the tank

See you all next month for the tour - looking forward to see what a tank is supposed to look like.

Sorry I couldn't make it, last minute studying for exams tomorrow.. Haha won't be at next month's will be in Germany, so hope to see you all @ the march meeting.

Good meeting. Stunk when I got home though. Mary you remember how I told you I had two TDS meters. I managed to soak one of them less then 20 minutes later.

Was nice to see everyone again and to sit back and talk about reefs with some people that understand. I'm starting to get my gf interested a bit, but she came along when I went to visit Jim(greeneyedblackcat) and said we were talking a foreign language for a while there.

I should have written down the names of what you gave me today because I forget them already. I don't remember anything unless I write it down. I know the two little ones were green striped mushrooms. The other two were? (some sort of plate possibly?)

Ken,
I should have grabbed one of those fragging kits from you. I know I have that stuff around here somewhere, from the first time you gave me some, and I've pushed them aside a million times looking for other stuff, but I can not find them for now.

thanks again for another great meeting!

Ken- you made my day with that green monti cap- i have been trying to get a frag of that for a while and am really stoked to see its progress.

wds- thanks again for the shrooms and hydno, let me know how those zoos are doing-- i was trying to grab a frag with with as many polyps as possible, but I found another frag last night as i moved stuff around with some more if your interested. I also meant to bring some blue shrooms, but my latest cuttings are still pretty small... Ill let you know when they have developed a bit more...

Dave - don't worry about the raffle, we didn't have tickets anyway
Jon - easy come, easy go with the TDS meters, huh? That sucks. Definitely keep trying to get the gf involved. My husband was into planted tanks & that's what got me thinking about reefs. We each have our own little niche now but it's great to have someone who still tolerates your spending habits!! It sounds like making RO there will be a good first step, LOL!
