January Meeting

Well, it is almost time for the election of officers next month! January is an important meeting date for the club, does anyone want to suggest dates and meeting place?
 
sounds good to me. now a place? how about johns house. i know it is a drive but i think his system would be cool to see, and we could carpool from las cruces.
 
I wish I could say sure lets do it at my place but now is not a good time for that. I am sorry but I am going to have to take a rain check this time. I will host a meeting but not this one, sorry

So, are there any hosts out there? The third Sunday will work and we can meet at a restaurant in El Paso if nothing else. Ideas anyone?
 
If it is ok with everyone, I would like to offer my place for the meeting. I live off Executive and Mesa. Let me know what you guys think.

i too would host but my apt is pretty small, i vote we go down to charlies new store on mesa. big, lots of room. if i had to pick.
 
Thank You John, now the other question is, what Sunday would you guys want the meeting to be? John suggested the third Sunday which is the 15th or would you like Sunday the 22nd? I can do either dates and also what time would you guys like to start the meeting? I am able to host at any time.

i have another board meeting the 22nd. i believe the 15th would work better for me. but i would still make the 22nd im sure.
 
Justin, If the meeting takes place the 22nd what time would you be able to attend?

Anybody else that would like to suggest a time please chime in.

i believe my other meeting is in the morning. so in the afternoon would work. if nothin else i would be a little late but nothing major.

looking forward to seeing your set up in person!

jan 22nd is a Saturday. Did you mean the 23rd which is Sunday?

If its on 1/22/11, which is a saturday, there is a great chance I can make it. Especially for them ribs!

If it's on 1/23/11. Wont be able to make it, we are celebrating my sons birthday that sunday. Also, just a side note, the AFC/NFC championship games are on that weekend. The 30th would bode well since there is nothing going on that weekend. The super bowl is on the following weekend! :bounce3:
 
OOPS. my bad on the dates, you are right on the both things. many people wont attend as football is has a powerful hold on most of us. would there be any objection by any members of the club if we did the meeting on Saturday the 22nd? Or if we dont get a good number of people who can make it to the meeting then we can make it the Sunday the 30th. on that note please post what date you can make it so we can figure out what date would have a better turn out.
