Jawsee's Reef

Hi Mo,thanks.

In the tank there is a rowaphos reactor whit 2,5 kilo inside,a reactor whit active carbon,1 kilo and a reactor whit 3 kilo zeolit inside,i want too eliminate everything bad as soon as it comes out off the live rock:).

All goes well, nitrite was at his highest level two days ago, only 0,4 and is now back too 0,3 mg.

Sice two days the water is slowly mixing whit the cellar tanks, aprox 50 liters in an hour.

Tomorrow i remove the reactors to a a cellar tank an i am planning too turn the lights on in the weekend.

Also i want to set the fish back upstairs in the weekend, every day i mix the water more.

If the water values stay good this goes on,th fish can help me if there are coming some algea out of the rock i hope:)
Luc,

I always love looking at your thread and now it starts again!. Good stuff, mate!.

What are you running in the tank?. Phos remover, Silicarbon?.... It looks like 2 reactors?.

Keep it coming.

Mo

Thanks but don't give me too much credit, there are so many good tanks,we all have a nice piece of nature at our homes:)
Luc, you're an inspiration,, ... amazing. I read your thread a few times and I'm very, very impressed.

number 1 in the world! my favorite reef tank.

Hi Raed, luck is always welcome,we all need that.

All the anthias are away ,also the jordani wrasses are gone.

Corals,i want some more staghorns at the back in the tank,in the front some more tables,i sold some corals and i lost some.

In a month i start collecting again some new ones, for me this is a big part off the hobby, chasing after some good stuff:inlove:

Hope you can see a nice tank next year when you visit belgium:)

Best of luck Luc! I hope everything goes as planned. I truly believe in your vision and am sure the tank will become better than it was! (which is a pretty tough act to match).

What fish/corals are going to be disregarded mainly?

For this moment i am replacing the MH for some AI sols,i want too see the effect on the tank,in the cellar t5 comes back.

I have a cold cellar so i must be carefull whit changing everything otherwise all the benefit goes into heating the system.

I have seen a lot of tanks the last months and some i like whit led and some are not good, the combi led and t5 is good i now for sure,t5 will be my main light(in the past the MH only burned for 4,5 hours a day)

Whit the led in the middle i can make some better sunrise and stuff like that, they will burn around 5 hours on their max capacity,in total 9 sol's in the middle.

Mayby next time when i must change the t5 bulbs i place some more led,for now its enough,it cost a lot off money for a bigger tank:)

Luc, why not change to 100% Leds ?

Would love to know what you think about them.

Hi Kevin,it's a shuran just driven by a pump,it doesn't do so much but itt tels me what the skimmer is doing in the cellar, all the water that goes into the cellar comes out now afront of the big skimmer:)
Luc, is that a airstone driven skimmer, if so what kind.

So today i changed the MH ,now there are 9 AI sol in the place,it was a lot off work to get everything in place but i am very happy now it is finished and whit a good result.

the sun goes up and down now in 7 steps:)

A small movie from the hobby work.

Water is flowing back into the cellar at olmost normal speed.

Hi Mo,this time there also are coming some soft corals inside the tank,a few nice leather corals, the middle and the upper side is for sps, down lps and softies.
Nice work, Luc.
Looking forward to seeing it stocked up!.... Exciting times.

Luc,

Very nice, I been following your thread. You waste no time. that 's a fast setup.

Has to be said before you stripped the tank down it was one of the best i had ever seen
Im really looking forward to seeing the tank stocked again and watching it grow :)

WOW Luc, it's been awhile since I visited your thread. It takes a lot of guts to start over seeing how you had such a nice tank! You’re off to a good start and I already love what you have done with the tank. I'll be following closely.

That tank seems so.... empty lol and so different, but that's nice, I do like all that space you have for fish now :)

thanks for sharing the progress luc!

the wow factor on the tank as it sits right now is already off the charts.

question, how long have you had the conspic and roughly how big is it?

also, about what temp do you keep your tank?

thanks.

I believe that will be his signature from here on out. But glad water is back into the tank good to see some movement.

Thanks Kevin,it's only the AI on the movie on 70 %,combined whit the t5 i like it very much.
Luc

Looking great. I like the color. Seam to have the right amount of blue.

Thanks Mo,the led are great in the evening and morning, real blue light for you:D
Looking good, Luc!. I agree with Kevin!.

Mo

Thanks, i am in vacation now(last day now:o)i need to go fast for my fish, they where not happy in the cellar.

I hope in the coming weeks no much algea will come but the parameters from the water are fine,po4 is only 0,07 whit 300 kilo of fresh live rock inside:bounce1:

Thanks, this one will take some more time because the scape is much lower but i like it.

I was referring to a previous post where the guy said not to do a video with just your underwear on. I replied that will be your signature. So its pretty much the only way to do a video of your tank is in your tighty whitey. :lmao::lmao::lmao:
