Jawsee's Reef

Just discovering your beautiful reef tank. May I ask what you are doing to keep coraline algae from covering all live rock? With the Ca you must supplement to feed the SPS alone would suggest a very purpled-up tank. I like the natural look of the rock you have achieved.

Thanks Chinchai,i hope your plans getting in line the way you wanted
Great fishes you got. Luc.
Congratulation!

Thanks
nice angel

Thanks,it is also the first time in a very long period they are so small here, mayby one day in Canada too:)
oh wow ! all my dream fish in one place :) they look amazing luc, I dont think we have ever gotten anything that little here in Canada.

thanks for sharing :)

Sounds good Mo about the flow, sorry for the camera, stupid people:)

The warsses are doing well.
Hi Luc,

My camera got stolen, so no photo until I get it replaced....
Meanwhile, I did increase the flow around the tank as there was some obstruction from the corals. I drilled my ceramic walls and added some MP60's into the rock walls. Massive flow now!, with battery backup as well!.

How is your male China wrasse?.

Mo

Thanks Kinlayan,love them too
love those clarions Luc wow!! just wow!!

Hi Olivier,i think in your tank they also will be nice:)
Very very rare,very very nice
I asked Arie for the price when i saw them in stock....
They will be fine with you
Always impressive with your installation
Olivier

Thanks
Absolutely stunning.... and to get them at that size, WOW!

Thanks,i like coraline algea but not too much,i believe when the rock's are covered you loose a lot off bacterial live into the rock's, ones they are sealed.

I try too prevent it by putting in some urchins, around 15 in the tank now, they eat the algea and bring the stuff back into the sytem,MG,SR and some other good elements:)

Very cute! Congrats.

That pipe at the end of the video, with slits, what is it for?

Hi Thanks,it is just one hiding place for them but they prefer a big stylo too hide in,very funny too see them go in to the coral:p

Tomorrow work starts again so a last video for some time i gues ,still adding some corals into the tank after rebuilding it.

On the upper right side the stones go away,i had the change too buy a very big formosa colony and if we can get it here in one piece it would be a nice place for this coral.

The guy only lives 10 minutes from my place so we can transport it dry:p

The tank is looking great Luc.

Your fish and coral collection is gobsmacking, i am green with envy as i could never afford one of those fish never mind all the ones you have.

You are very lucky and skilled.

Jordan

Love the clarions, amazing!

A new movie made today, around 5,40 minutes you can see the two clarions in their home, from ther they swimm every day further into the tank.

Much fish on this one, tank is back filled whit the most corals that i want too come into the tank, the colors are not there one hundred percent but in time i think it will come ok.

Enyou:lmao:

The right music is not there yet but so what haha.

Awesome video Luc! Was there a trick to getting your anampses to eat flake food or did they all just figure it out on their own by perhaps watching the rest of the group?

Awesome Luc!.
Was that two black tangs I spotted as well ?!.

What's your feeding regime now?.
Still on vinegar?. Still running Rowaphos?.

I see a few more LPS this time!….

Any more fish planned?...

Mo

Awesome tank after the aquascape, I love it!
Luc, in your experience, of course well feeding is imperative, which are LPS that can live with angels?
I see you have catalaphyllia, euphyllia, right? what else?

Thanks,It comes in time, the femininus still don't want too eat flakes, they try but trow it out again.

Thanks Mo,the second black tang came in around 10 months ago but you never seen it on video or you must have a very good eye:)he was very small(only 4 cm).
You now i prefer the smallest fish i can get:)

For the rest everything stays the same, vinegar and a lot off food every day.

I think now every day a complete blister frozen food and some dry foods.

Rowa is less, only 200 gram, mayby i leave it out in a few weeks, the frag tanks are full and ar,e pulling everything out off the system.

Those lps where always in the tank but they where out off side, now i want too see them:)

No more fish planned haha or i must get my hands on a xxxxxx:celeb2:

cheers Luc

Thanks Elliot.
great job Luc, SPS colonies are thriving, fish selection is amazing!

I hope in times it will come better haha:)
This tank is amazing!

Thanks, all mushrooms like rodacthis and ricordea's are safe in my eyes.
Euphillia's also.

Catalaphyllia is not safe,the pygo's don't like them:confused:

Anemones are ok too and some gorgonians are too.

Alveopora and goniopora are ok too.

For the rest try out and sometimes you have luck.:)

Just amazing Luc! The tank is looking great! I am glad the clarions made the transition safe and sound. They seem to be doing very well. I also noticed you added a Siganus magnificus, hehe we have a very similar taste in fish, I am looking for 3 small ones myself!!! They always come in huge (which is very rare here anyways)!!
