Jawsee's Reef

Thanks for posting David's tank video. Any reason he switched tanks? Did he go with a larger tank?
Any reviews or plans of his tank like the old one?

I'd be interested to know as well. Looks like even David decided to go the LED route. Thats ALOT of fixtures above the tank! The secret cabinet by the tank that held equipment was just too cool!! Excellent video!!

Cant wait to see some updates on your tank Luc! Keep us well informed with lots of videos...we like videos!!!

Great video's Luc, amazing to see these top end systems.

FYI Mo, the coral in you were referring to with Vince is Hydnophora Grandis.

Haha, like the terminator said;i'l be back:)
Great Video. Gonna miss your tank but that's why god invented YouTube.

The old tank was not good anymore, this one is only a little bit bigger i believe but it is better finished.

the tank cleaned whit the backwall covered whit black PE,this time i will place most off the rocks away from the backwall so i can use it too place some pumps and =this ensures a better current.

Sad picture for me, Luc. :hmm3: It was the most amazing tank I have seen..... I'm sure it will be back to it's former glory very quickly though!. :in love:

Was there much detritus behind the rocks/ ceramics when you cleaned it out?. I always wonder how much collects over time..

What did you use to clean the glass up?.

Will you use the same lights ?.

You have made some good progress! What a huge undertaking and the tank looks brand new in that last picture. Can't wait to see the new aquascape and coral placement! We will be anxiously waiting for updates!!

Luc. Thank you for the many unique, informative/entertaining videos and I wanted to personally wish you the best of luck in your endeavor to rebuild this wonderful system ... I am confident you will have it become a better version of its former self and look forward to viewing its progress :)

David. You have outdone yourself once again, mate ... Simply stunning, indeed !

I appreciate how you incorporate multiple/various species in your reefs, believe I even identified an uncommonly known Lithophyllon colony, as the biodiversity variable is one of the many aspects that sets you apart from the masses and together with the other ReefKeeping Masters :)

People, even many of those who have experience in this hobby, dont truly comprehend how difficult it is to keep a species diverse mixed reef, especially of this scale. There are infinite variables/parameters which must be tediously adjusted for each individual species to thrive, particularly when they are in close proximity to eachother !

Hi Chingchai, progess is going well, yesrderday i build the live rock in the tank, around 300 kilo, today mayby here and there an additional rock or a bridge and that's is.
This time i want the rock's too stay lower so the corals can grow bigger:)
Luc. Nice progress.
Can't wait to see the new look of your tank.
Must be more beautiful!

Hi Andrew,i remember you:):)
No special plans just have fun and something new too watch too.
Less rock into the tank and mayby less corals but bigger ones in a few years:)
