Jawsee's Reef

So five weeks now since the rebuilding and all the water parameters are ok.

A small movie so you can see the progress:lmao:

Tank looks stunning as always.

In the recent video, I can't get over how fat your bellus angels are. They look like they get most of the food when you feed the tank.

What is your feeding schedule like?

Thanks Dave, sometimes you much change too keep it fun he:lmao:
I still haven't been able to reconcile myself with your having taken down one of the most beautiful reef aquariums anywhere, and here you are well on your way to another incredible set-up! Everything looks like it will fill in and look exquisite again.

Hi Mo,the combi is fine for me,mayby next year i change the rest into led,we will see.
When the t5 is on you don't see anything more from the led's.
All ATI tubes.
No vinegar at this time,i have enough bac's this time whit the 300 kilo fresh rock, nitrates is gone to zero this week, phosfat was already zero so i must be carefull, looking for some new fish too add some extra polution into the tank:lmao:
Looking lovely again, Luc!.

Are you happy with the LED/T5 combo so far?.
What T5 tubes are you using?.

Are you dosing vinegar?. If so, how much are you adding?. Any GFO?.

Thanks
Mo

Another great update!
Do I see new fish?? ;) a group of them!!!

Thanks, some months ago the family De Jong(the biggest wholesaler in Europe) was here and they told me my fish was to fat so they are on a diet yet but is does not help much i believe.
For the moment they recieve around three times frozen food and one or two times dry food, mayby i am going to give them some less,i want them too be healthy and strong when i rebuild the tank

The bellus are indeed very fat:spin1:

Are you still going to rebuild the glass tank?, or are you talking about the current phase?.

At the moment, you are using liverock and skimmer only? Or are the zeolites and phos remover still online?
Any other filtration right now?..

Thanks
Mo

Mo,i am not going too replace the glass tank,it isn's wordt the effort,i have been thining about it but i only have a few schratches and i can't go bigger for the moment, mayby later when i am finished working:lmao:

For the moment there is stil 2 kilo rowhaphos in the system but the flow is very low,at the start i used 6 kilo in 4 reactors too pull everything out the system directly,i don't want a tank full of algea he.

No other filtration this moment.

Thinking about LED, Luc.

I have Radions over the middle section of my tank.
I took out the middle Giesemann and so far, it's working well.

What is you lighting schedule?...

Mo

Hi Luc.

I have been following your build threads for some time, they are amazing. There never seems to be anything left for me to say about your tank after all the great feedback you get from your followers.
Just recently my enthusiasm for my tank started to wain. But reading your build brought me back to a more positive out look . Thanks for the time you spend posting your vids and infomation.

Kind regards Martin
