I bought a bio cube 29 from the forums a little while ago.. wasnt sure if it was glass or acrylic. After some searching I was convincesd that all the bio's are glass. So I stayed conservative and got the official "biocube" scraper.

Now I am seeing scratches! Am I wrong about it being glass? The back area only has 2 sections unlike most of the cubes I have seen, so I'm not sure if it is older or from a different make.

any ideas?

thankfully the scratches are minor at this point and only visible at certain angles.

Check to make sure you didn't get any sand/small stones stuck on the scraper on the inside of the tank. Sometimes when you clean the bottom portion of your tank some of the sand can get stirred up and get in there. That'll cause scratches if its glass or acrylic.
