JCole's box of rocks

I used to run that but switched the C+ to a P+, just looks better to me but I'm straight T5 with some blue led strips, no halide.

The spectrum is very similar to the Radiums. I did use the purple+ in the past and liked it but I wanted a more blue look. I was originally going to use all blue+ just to supplement the Radiums. Right now it looks good though.

Snapped a quick phone pic last night. Only blue+ on and they still glow with no filter. I probably wont supplement with RB LEDs.

Maybe move to Germany??
I hear you get a tax deduction if you have an aquarium in your home

Impressive growth rates

Thank you. Things have been growing pretty well lately. I am battling very low nutrients and potassium. I started dosing potassium and ammonia in hopes of raising both the K and nutrient levels. Some of my pieces have lost some color and stalled in growth and I think this has something to do with it. The next couple of weeks should tell me if I am making progress.

I took a video last night while snapping some pictures. Tank looked good in the night blues. Tank is one year old now since the crash and moving into the new system. The corals were resurrected from death, and I am happy to see 95% of them doing well with growth and color. Hopefully, I will see this tank fill in within six months or so.

I will try to get a better walk around in daylight with my better camera.

You could dose potassium nitrate (stump remover) and kill two birds with one stone.

I was going to do that but I want to be able to dose each one individually. I am using potassium chloride for the K and ammonium bicarbonate to help build up some nitrogen and food in the system. Once I get everything dialed in then I might try potassium nitrate for a maintenance dose.

My K is testing around 300 and NO3 is 0.04. Very low on both. I need to get those up.
