Jebao Dc powered pump

I have a dc 6000 and the 1.5" pvc female thread adapter will not screw on. Neither will my 1" flex pvc fit any of the barb adapters! I don't know what to do.

i have 1" spaflex

just wrap some Teflon around the fitting, cram it in.

works fine.

I have 1 1/4" female thread on my DC-6000.

I used a threaded 1" adapter to 1" flex pvc and it works well. On the inlet I put a threaded to pvc 90 degree

r-balljunkie, that would be a LOT of teflon! Don't think that will work for me.

Strange that everyone else seems to be able to use thread adapters. I'm wondering if my thread adapter is defective. It looks fine, but I will check that.

When I say threaded adapter I mean this is what I used to come directly off the pump.

Good news!

It turns out that the issue was with the thread adapter, not the pump. I tried a different fitting and got it working. Glad the pump was ok! Still not sure why the 1" flex won't connect to any of the barb fittings, but I guess they just didn't include a 1" barb fitting.

Is it flex pvc or flex hose? I used flex pvc on my pump going from the threaded adapter I linked to slip and glued it in place.

I'm looking at getting the DCT-12000 for my 240. The pump it came with was 700W. Hoping it will run for years, but probably going to buy a spare just in case.
