Jebao Group Buy Proposal (SWFMAS)

I just ordered a Jeboa DC-12000 before I saw this post. All the information that I had found on it said that the pump could be used internally or externally. I received my pump the other day and it says right on the pump that it is for internal use only. I have sent an email to the vendor asking for a clarification on this but have not heard anything back yet. Also, if the pump must be used internally, it did not come with any type of filter or screen to block sediment from being sucked in.

Just an FYI in case it turns out that the pump can only be used internally. ( I will advise what the vendor says once he gets back to me.)

I asked Jebao the people that make the pump and here is their answer.

Dear Eric

The DC pumps can be used externally, as they have in-flow and out-flow to connect with waterpipes, definitely, they should be laid below the water level, which would not cause any extra wear

Best Regards

Hello,

The DC pumps say on the box that they are submersible but would there be any problems if the pump is run externally? Would it cause any extra wear or problems.

Thank you

We are doing good so far, this morning we were at 47 pumps now we are at 56.

WP25 - 17
WP40 - 9

DC6000 - 11
DC12000 - 19

Total: 56 pumps

Yes, the wattage is reduced depending on the speed you have the pump set to. If the pump is running at a lower speed is using less wattage unlike a regular pump that you just install a ball valve in the output side and restrict the flow but the pump is still running at full power.

Im on both coasts at the moment. Did you decide if you are drop shipping them to everyone or if they are all going to your address?

They are all coming to my house in Cape Coral then I will meet someone from Miami halfway and everybody from Miami will pick the pumps from that person or I can drop them off in Miami and you guys get them from that person. Once Im ready to place the order we will arrange for pick.

I have you down for 1x wp25 and 1x DC6000. That sounds good?

Is there anyone from Miami willing to hold the pumps so that everybody in the Miami area can go pick up their pumps? Please let me know.

If I take them myself on a weekend I will be in Hialeah at my aunts house. Everyone can go get them there and if there are more people by you then you can take theirs and they can get them from you. All this will need to be arranged ahead of time.

I am by Coconut Groove we can meet up let me know

Help here ----- I'am debating whether to get 2 or 1 wp25 on a 120 mix reef

It depends on your rock layout and what corals you have. You definately don't want less than 2 on a 120g but I would suggest 3. If you end up only needing two you can leave one as a back up at these prices I think is worth it.

But either way I'll put you down for 2. If you end up wanting another let me know before Friday so I can add it to the list.
