Jebao Group Buy Proposal (SWFMAS)

Im torn between the 6000 and the 12000. I have a mag 7 right now and those run 700gph at 0 head at 60W. The 6000 can do around 450-1500gph at 40W. Id like to go down in power consumption. However, i know i want to upgrade to a bigger tank soon so the 12000 looks enticing at a max 3100gph at 80W. However the minimum gph is 950gph. For $10 more something is telling me to go with the 12000

Then again, breaking it down further, i could run the 12000 at the lowest possible setting which is 60% and use 48W pushing 950 gph as opposed to my mag7 which is pushing 700gph at 70W...hmmmm

John,

If the DC12000 pumps 3100 gph how do you figure that at 60% it would do 950 gph. Seems like 60% would be closer to 1850 gph.

However, if you have a controller and can get it to interface properly with the pump, you may be able to go less than 60%.
