Jebao WP25 Information

Sounds like you have the same tank that I do. Maybe I'll give that a shot. Is there a known problem with the wp10 magnets? Are they not strong or something?

My tank is 36"x24"x18", I have one WP25 placed on the back wall, one inch from side wall, about 1/3 of the way down, the head is pointed slightly down, in W2-S3 mode dialed all the way down (no dimmer). This is the only placement/mode that does not kick up sand but will still give me movement on the surface.

I did order a WP10 to see if the magnets will hold on my glass and how it performs. Thinking I'll order another WP10 for the other side if it's holds and I like how it performs.

I just got one of those led dimmers and I'm having no problem running 2 40s in a 10 gallon tank. they are dialed way back to a slow crawl. I did an easy mod to the dial which I will post here soon.

I mistyped, my setting is W1-S3. The WP10 is an unknown as they were just offered not even a month ago. So I'm hoping the magnets are strong enough to hold on my thicker glass.....

has anyone noticed a yellowing of the water when first introducing these to their tanks? I've been running my first modded 40 in a 10 gallon tank going on a couple weeks now and saw lots of yellowing of the water the first couple days. I'd change out the water daily with fresh 10 gallons and by the next morning it was yellow again. after about a week daily water changes it stopped. I put the other modded 40 in yesterday and the tank is yellow again.

I'm sure it's dye from the plastic being leached out. anybody else experience this? any ill effects with unexplained algae growth or coral deaths?

water. straight out of the box right into the water. I would imagine it does it to every tank but it wouldn't be noticeable in larger volumes of water.

I ordered two 25s for 36 inch long tank. Even with an led dimmer to dial them back I've found I can only run one of these or I get way too much movement. Is anyone actually running two in a tank this size? If so, what settings? I'm running one one else mode dialed way back on the dimmer.

i use to on my 54 corner both in wave1 mode. here is a link to my tank running them...

Yours are definitely higher in the tank than mine. Maybe I'll try moving it up. I keep debating adding the second one back in or just going with one. My main concern, other than all the debris getting kicked up, is my fish getting knocked around too much. I already lost my smaller clown. Found it sucked up on the side of the 25. He was a smart clown but always very healthy. Guess he got too curious.

I bought them just to test them and form my own opinion. I have vortech pumps on my tank which aren't going to be replaced with these.

because they're DC pumps there's a lot that can be done. my next project is to abandon the whole driver and make a programmable one using an arduino.

Didn't you guys read that the YouTube video posted with the speed knob was this guy? He had 1 wp40 literally barely moving water In a 10gal so I doubt he had issues with 2. He obviously isn't a troll as he stated they are highly mod-able DC pumps he bought to tinker with...

seems to be a troll to me...i would love to see a video of 2 40's on a 10 gallon

If you knew Jimmy, then you would know he is a master at DIY. Perhaps it would be a good idea to take a look at the thread he linked, it does an excellent job of describing what he did.
