Jeff's New tank Build 210g with 90g fuge 40g sump

Do you think the tank is designed to rest in a vertical position?

Hopefully, you now have it stored in the horizontal.

With the extra height (over a 180), you'll need long arms; or, a bigger sized canopy door. Otherwise, you won't be able to touch the sand bed with your hands.

On my 180, I can't really access the back corners because of the way my canopy was designed.

It's fun to watch a new tank being set up.

Best of luck,

Roy

Roy I already know that Jeff can't reach the bottom of the tank, so am gonna get him some long chopsticks  just hope he doesn't use it to eat pizza like Jasson(Cornd0gg) :D

I've ordered my go go gadget arms online. And will be designing my own canopy so hopefully it will be very accessible.

Sorry everyone for the lack of progress. Mike and I have had a sudden increase of sidework. We did buy the wood, I will be going with 3/4" sanded birch for the skin and canopy. The doors are going to be raised panel surface mount doors as i'm not to keen on the flush mount. It will be all black, mabe a semigloss or satin finish....havent quite decided yet, I'll have to do a test spray and see which I like better. As far as the design, I've decided to go with two large doors on the front of both stand and canopy, and single doors on both sides of the canopy. On the lighting, I will be going with 3 250w 20K reefoptics(for now), supplemented with two 6' VHO. As for flow I have two tunzes 6100, with a tunze wavebox and the new aquasurf controller. It might be a week or so before i get more pics up, because we have to finnish some side work before we can have fun with the woodwork. I';; post more when i have it. You can ask any questions in the meantime.

This guy's got me working all over Town. LOL. We have to do the work that pay's more than just beer first. Nobody wanted to spend any money all summer long and now we are swamped with work.

OK, not alot of progress but every little bit helps. JoAnna and I set up the makeshift woodworking room. (put plastic up surrounding the garage where the cars were), and I cut out and drilled plywood for top of stand.

And it wouldnt be any fun without pics.
