Yep. That one on LA is freakin' awesome. The one that I'm gonna get is from a BAR member. Nice little trade goin' on.:D

When you get it, I'm inviting myself over :bum:

Just for you Mark. Let there be LIGHT! Sort of...

That's the good old normal output flourescent that came with the 40 breeder. The rock work still needs to get put back into shape after I baked the flat rock, washed it, and let it soak in SW for a few days. Once it's back in, I'll get things in order.

Jeremy

I used to deal in lots of fish shipped from BalI to SFO and lost lots until
I started neutralizing the ammonia before acclimation, do you know about this trick?

After doing that I lost maybe one or two fish and that was because they died on the flight from Bali.

Sorry to hear about the loss's.

Yep, Thats a good trick. I use cycle when adding new fish. I am trying t track down some Special Blend as well. God tip though Chris ;)

reefer334/Mark - what is this "ammonia neutrilizing" trick?

Jeremy - did you make your middle rock island taller? Your tang should come out soon. My Bellus Angel pair didn't start coming out til day 4, IIRC. I just PM'ed pulpol about your crosshatch...waiting reply

Tbone

You neutralize the ammonia before acclimation because ammonia is not toxic to fish at a low PH which is what the water will be after shipping, you neutralize the ammonia before raising the PH in the shipping bag or water it was shipped in if using a different acclimation container thta prevents gill burn which a lot of fish will not recover from.
