:lmao: !!!!!

Jeremy, I feel ya. Same exact thing happened to me when I was buying a Sohal from someone in San Jose. Where are the ethics???

Sorry to hear your deal flipped. Seems it is just getting harder to find people that are good for their word these days.
:(

kd love looks like he has a nice back up plan though :) Although probably much more money.

definitely over the top price.

I have seen some on the FS forum at times but that is kind of scetchy at best sometimes as well.

It's always good to wait... Good things happen to people who wait. Who know you may get your hands on some nicely colored specimens... Just wait it out.

Jeremy, The tank looks great. It was nice to sit down and chat with you and your wife. Its coming along quite nicely.

BTW, check out the crosshatch on the bottom of the page on Atlantis' website

Ok, I think I've let the fire burn down a bit. Needed to step back before I posted a few things that might have angered the RC gods.:D
Moving on. I am working on another avenue for possibly getting another Crosshatch, possibly a pair. That male at Atlantis is really nice, Mark. If our friends can't come through, I may take a trip over to see Ming Wei.
It was nice to just take a few to sit and enjoy the tank, even in it's unfinished state.

As for updates, not much I'm afraid. Until I get the reflectors, I'm pretty much stuck. As soon as I do, I'll mount the lights, recruit a friend for manual labor, and get the canopy in place. I'm still waiting on the Velocity T4 pump that I bought as well. The person that I bought it from has disappeared though, so I'm getting a bit nervous on that front. It was supposed to be here last Monday, but has yet to show up, not have I heard from him, despite numerous attempts to contact him.:(
I also made the mesh screen covers for the tank to make sure my little fishy friends don't go skydiving. Once the lights are up, I'll start moving the corals over, as well as put the skimmer and larger chiller online in their final positions.
Now that I have got the Flame wrasses and Rhomboid settled in, I'll start bringing the other fish in over the next few days. The only one I'm concerned about adding is the Achilles. He refuses to get over the ich. It pops back every few days. At least everyone else is healthy enough to avoid it, but not the Achilles. He looks healthy and is eating well though, so that's good. I may leave him in that system after I get everybody else out, including the corals, and deal with it then. He may or may not make it into the new tank. This persistent problem will be more of a challenge than I want to deal with in the big tank.

That pretty mess up,i meet that guy once,i thought he's stand up guy.sorry to hear that.better thing will come along to those that wait.:)

Yeah gotta say it gets frustrating when people dont have the same integrity as you.

Kinda like you almost driving all the way to Ione.

Well heard a better offer was coming your way anyways

"ALMOST" nothing, try all the way!

But, other options are presenting themselves, but time will tell. All of the others will require cash as opposed to trade.:( Gonna need to start a few for sale threads that everyone loves so much.

Did you finally get to meet T today?

Yup, bummer.:(

For some folks Money is worth more then respect.................and that is a Shame!!!

BTW, those fish are Devils in a reef hahahahaha

I couldn't agree more Rob. At least I've found a nice group of people that buck that trend.:)

Yeah, I've done a ton of research on the Crosshatch and Blue Jaws, and there are a few risks, but the primary issue will be the waste created, and I'm not too concerned about that. My damsels may become a meal eventually, but I'm not too concerned about that either.:D Does that make me the devil?
Other than that, the only potential risks involve clams and inverts, but I've heard from quite a few people that have them with no issues what so ever, so, I love the fish enough to risk it.

I hear ya, we all take risk with Fish in our reefs! IME it's mainly shrimps, crabs and the occasional clam with the Xhatch and the BJT. Never been a trigger fan but the Blue jaw has been growing on me as of late :)
