Ok, I think I've let the fire burn down a bit. Needed to step back before I posted a few things that might have angered the RC gods.
Moving on. I am working on another avenue for possibly getting another Crosshatch, possibly a pair. That male at Atlantis is really nice, Mark. If our friends can't come through, I may take a trip over to see Ming Wei.
It was nice to just take a few to sit and enjoy the tank, even in it's unfinished state.
As for updates, not much I'm afraid. Until I get the reflectors, I'm pretty much stuck. As soon as I do, I'll mount the lights, recruit a friend for manual labor, and get the canopy in place. I'm still waiting on the Velocity T4 pump that I bought as well. The person that I bought it from has disappeared though, so I'm getting a bit nervous on that front. It was supposed to be here last Monday, but has yet to show up, not have I heard from him, despite numerous attempts to contact him.
I also made the mesh screen covers for the tank to make sure my little fishy friends don't go skydiving. Once the lights are up, I'll start moving the corals over, as well as put the skimmer and larger chiller online in their final positions.
Now that I have got the Flame wrasses and Rhomboid settled in, I'll start bringing the other fish in over the next few days. The only one I'm concerned about adding is the Achilles. He refuses to get over the ich. It pops back every few days. At least everyone else is healthy enough to avoid it, but not the Achilles. He looks healthy and is eating well though, so that's good. I may leave him in that system after I get everybody else out, including the corals, and deal with it then. He may or may not make it into the new tank. This persistent problem will be more of a challenge than I want to deal with in the big tank.
