I even have some preweighed out in little baggies

Using it to dose the tank?? Man I need to get back into the swing of things again. This hobby evolves so fast if you sleep on it for a few months you fall behind!!!

No, just a precautionary dip as I transfer everything over to the new system.

Props to Jim for picking them up from Warren for me, as well as allowing me to have them when we had to decide which of us would get them, as the other pair didn't make it. Thanks a million buddy!:D

Its a supermale?

How do they compare to the flames and rhoms?

Yes sir it is.
You'll just have to come over and see for yourself. They're nearly 2x the size of my Rhomboid, but it's hard to compare the different wrasses as they're each to unique. I put nearly all of the fish into the new tank now, with the exception of the Achilles, who has come down with a nasty case of ich, and the Radiant wrasse, who decided to hide out in the sand during my roundup, and I was unable to locate. Should be interesting to see how everyone reacts to each other in the morning.

I got a couple of packages in today as well. Finally got my new endcaps for the VHO's, as well as 2 new 6' bulbs, only to hear a rattling in the box. Opened it up to find this:

I'm seriously considering just going with 4 3' bulbs so that I can find them locally. I see this as a very real potential every time. Opinions?

Also got in my version 1 drum for my OM 4 way. I'll swap that out this weekend and take a look at how the flow looks with that one. The version 1 will have 1 channel open at a time, which will push water through 2 outlets. That's 2900gph per, exiting a 1' return, as opposed to the version 3 drum that I've got now, which has 2 channels open at a time, or 1450gph per.
Still can't manage to track down the person I bought the Velocity T4 pump from, so that looks like a lost cause. May file a Paypal claim over the weekend.

On another note, I must say that doing water changes is almost enjoyable now. It took me a whole 5 minutes to change 30 gallons. Just close the valve on the fuge pump, pump out 30 gallons from the fuge, move the mag pump a few feet down to the SW barrel, pump 30g into the fuge, and turn the valve back on on the fuge pump. So simple I just chuckled the whole time. I'm officially done with lugging 5g buckets around.:D

I also have a line on a pair of Crosshatch triggers, that, according to a good source, are simply breathtaking, and the price is great for a nice pair. Only downside is the size, which is nearly 10"!!!! Gonna have to mull that one over a bit, but from the sounds of it, the male will rival that one on LA. Decisions, decisions.

JT - about your bulbs, have you tried ordering from Reefgeek? Their packaging is superb.

Yep, Greg is a great guy to deal with, but the last time I talked to him, he did not have the super actinics we use.

;)

I should have some pics of those by noon today. He couldn't get them uploaded because his computer wouldn't read his camera card. His computer at work will though.

Have you seen the redtail trigger?

I will be trying one of those in my reef, I love the purple and the red on them.
