I think that this is only something you experience once you have a little precious bundle that relies on your for everything. That helpless feeling is heart wrenching, but you have to take it in trade for all the smiles, laughs and love you get from them.

Take care!

Yeah, you can only imagine it before you have kids of your own, but once you do, you realize it's 100x worse than you imagined.

As men it is just bread into us to protect our families and when something like this happens it leaves us helpless and there is nothing we can do about it and that is very hard for guys and is overwelming. least that is how i feel

Here's a sample picture of the Crosshatches under consideration. The only thing holding me back is the size, at nearly 10".

wow, stunning and big. Think i would do it.

I'm leaning that way, but they would be SOOOOO much larger than everything else that it's a little daunting.

I think the only thing i would worry about is if they are clumsy and would be knocking over acros and breaking them? BUt i dont know since i have never owned or read that much on them

jeremey, i'm glad she's in good spirits :D. these kids are resilient and she'll bounce back in no time.

I'm in the middle of a complete re-aquascape. I've had 2 wars going on in the tank. First, the Scopas and Purple tangs have been darting back and forth across the tank, although neither has done any damage to the other. Those 2 will be left alone to sort out their differences.
The other war was another story however. The Rosy Scales wrasse has decided that although he was more than happy to get along with the Flame pair, the Hooded pair, and the Radiant, the new Lineatus pair were just too much for him to handle. Even though the Lineatus' are more than 2x his size, and were in the tank before he was, he's been beating the snot out of the Supermale, who has yet to adjust. He was leaving the Rhomboid alone, but I think with his hormones raging, he decided the Rhomboid needed a beating as well.
Well, that's just not gonna happen. It took me removing half of the rockwork, but it was well worth it. He's now residing in my fuge until further notice, at which point he will be sold.

On another note, found this sub adult Lineatus on LA for a good price if anyone is interested.

Some Monsters!!! Very healthy looking fish. You have bigger ba*** then me if you add those:lol:

As it happens, I will not be adding them. My daughter not with standing, the you know what has hit the fan at our office in Santa Rosa, and I must immediately step in to pick up the pieces. I'll be commuting daily for the time being, and possibly staying with my parents a few nights a week. Our realtor has also been told to get this house sold ASAP, as there is no longer an option to stay local because this new role looks to be permanent.
So, with soooooo many other "fun" things going on as of late, I just can't consider adding any new livestock. Another time, and I will have a pair of Crosshatch triggers, just not today.

Eek, Sounds like you will be going soon. Sorry to hear, BUt you gotta do what you gotta do.

I just ordered my Lumenmax Elite from Reef Geek today:)

Greg is a super nice guy has definitely won my business

Davey, update per Sulight Supply, their powder coat machine was down for 3 days. They'll finish and get the SE reflectors out next week, with DE fixtures out in a couple of weeks.
