Well, after the flood of the main tank on Thursday, I got to do it all over again with a flood of the garage tanks on Friday.
The short version:
I had been pulling corals out of the 125g, dipping them and moving them over to the main tank Thursday evening. In so doing, I had pushed the locline returns down and out of the way and left them that way overnight. Figured it didn't really matter as there were no corals left in the tank, but I did leave the tank running attached to the rest of that system. Everything was fine when I fed the dogs the next morning. As I recently moved out of my office, I had all of my office furniture and files in the garage. I was working Friday morning, and needed to go and get a file out of the garage around 11am. When I stepped into the garage, the floor was completely soaked!

As it happens, something tripped the GFCI, and as my returns were so low in the tank, I managed to drain about 50g from the 125 into the sump, which could only handle about 20 of the 50g.
The real problem was that now my credenza, chairs, boxes, and too many other things to list were sitting in the water. I opened the door, called to the wife "Uh, dear. I think I need your help."
3 hours of mopping, moving, reboxing, etc, etc. and things were finally clear of the water, though the garage was a complete mess. My wife just looked at me and says "lets just get the corals moved out of these tanks and not be bothered by this system anymore." OK, another day of work down the drain, but, the corals are all now in there new home.
I can honestly say that I had NO IDEA just how many corals I actually had.:eek1: I still have quite a few just sitting on an eggcrate rack that is laid across a couple of the rocks awaiting me to find a bit more time to glue them down. It is actually starting to resemble an actual reef tank finally. No pics yet, as I just haven't had the time, and would prefer to wait to take a few pics until things are all in place. Hopefully by the weekend I'll get that taken care of.
On another note, the driver for my wavebox was definitely a casualty of the previous flood. I got a nice light show from the small fire within the box when I very briefly plugged it back in. Roger Vitko and Rodney took care of me though, not free, but a nice discount despite my stupidity, and a new driver is on it's way.
