I was assuming that most run their reactor with a ph controller..... Is that not how you run yours?

What else do you use your AC jr for?
 
No PH monitor here as per Tim,John and a few other OG's. Just a straight bubble count. ;)

I use my ACJr for my lights, heaters, fans, fuge lights and I might hook the chiller in, but I just like being able to see it all there and the ease of knowing that I have back ups. Peace of mind is priceless :D
 
Well, then, one less thing I have to buy. i will need a tutorial as soon as my reactor comes in. Feel like sharing the knowledge?

Not sure. I have always wanted to keep everything on separate controllers for various reasons. Everything I control is run by its own dedicated controller. Lights, Tunze's, temp and fans.
 
I used to do that, but I like the fact that you can program the lights to turn off if it gets to a certain temp as a backup. This way your other eqipment is not overextended. It is not a neccasity, but it is nice.
 
you can also hook some fans to it too. over heat, & bam! lights go out, heater goes off and fans come on, sooo cool.. I want/need one....
 
I'm gonna do a little research and see what I can find. It would be nice for the summer :D

I still gotta drill a hole in my garage wall for my chiller, and build a stand for it.....

My problem is that I'm spending all my money on equipment so I don't have to do any reworking under the stand down the line, but I still don't have any corals :(
 
Don't sweat the corals Mr. Sexy. You've got a few friends that'll hook you up. Though, you may want to wait on mine as I have to deal with a little worm problem tonight.:(
 
Yeah, so far everyone has been great! It will all come together in the end. Its all about helping a brother out, and all that has been done for me will be repaid. I'm not the kinda guy who takes, but doesn't give back. In fact, my whole theory on life is that you get back what you put in :)
 
I could never get into Hockey. I tried for the longest time, its a no go.

Now i didnt know the Hornets were that good, They spanked up on the Mavs.

Spurs are just made for playoffs. They will win it again

What is the latest with Lucifer?
 
"Luci" is still in the display, as I'm having a tough time bringing myself to pull the fish. I just love it so much :( It is such a magnificent creature that commands so much respect IMO. Truly a centerpiece fish.

The aggression is still there, and the tank obviously belongs to the sohal. The PT is fine though for now. Like I said before, I'm really more concerned about whats "going to happen" down the road. The PT has really held onto its position, and like I mentioned before, it is no push over. There are no marks,cuts,scratches or anything like that on either fish. It is more like a peeing contest between two. One day it may turn into something else though.

I only wish I had a 300 :( Maybe I should have waited on the build and tried to score John's when he upgrades to the 6-hundo.....
 
As far as sports, I've given up watching all but golf and tennis until the olympics.

I'm over hoops, and over baseball. Did you see the Giants demoted Zito :rolleyes: The A's are brilliant. We got jacked on that one :(

Football is the only sport I truly follow now. I'll watch the Kings (and always have/always will), but until they're good again, the rest of the league is of no interest to me. What about Garnett last night? Talk about a total joke. Hoops is going down hill very fast :(

Edit: I also don't mind watching the warriors do battle too. Kings fan all the way, but I'm not a Warriors hater :)

It's only been a week that the tangs have been together right? When I added my dussumieri he was heckled for two weeks by the other three tangs. You can see a bite mark on his fin in the pic I posted earlier in the thread. Give it a little more time and maybe things will work out. They might get used to each other.
 
They say to keep them in odd numbers how about 3 sohals:p :lol:


What if you added a few medium sized Tangs and a bunch of chromis and a mag foxface or i wonder if that would just **** him off more!:lol:
