I found two on your list today locally :) I sent you a picture from the iphone to your gmail.

Jim,

Kinda funny you say the Naso is too common but you have a Sohal and even an Orange Shoulder on your list:D

Honestly i see more Sohals by far than a Blonde male naso's

I bet one of the fish Mark found was a Orange shoulder. Like i say to each his own.

Jeez!!! I feel like I have to explain everything to you guys.....

Really? I've seen blonde naso's at petco ;)

But I didn't buy the sohal for its exclusivity, I bought it because IMO, it is an attractive show piece. I just feel the BNT is just a grey fish, where as the sohal, while available, is far more attractive.

The oragne shoulder tang is a secondary fish. Not by any means a show piece. I will not simply buy one and call it a day.It is a filler fish, as is the kole tang, and possibly the Chevron.

The tang that will fill the "show" position will be either the dussumier, the bariene, the white cheek, achilles or some other tang that is hard to find.

:)

Eek. I didnt think you needed to explain. YOur tank you can do whatever you want with it. I will leave your thread alone

No, I think you SHOULD have to explain every little detail AND justify your reasoning!:D
Dude, that Barienne is way up my list, but the potential size is an issue. The last couple of weeks I keep going back and looking at that and the White Cheek. When the max size of a fish is 1/4 of the length of the tank, that's BIG.

Jim, I think you should get a whale shark for your tank :D

Jt,

yeah, the size is also a concern of mine as well :( As far as fish that I would consider, my options are limited.

Mark,

Don't you think that will knock over some corals too?

Whale Sharks are cool. I think they'd make a nice show piece. But I really have my eye on a Blue Fin tuna :D I think its a little better fit for the 180 ;)

Thats what I was thinking!!!

Blue fin Tuna fish aren't cheap either!!! One went on auction in Tsukigi fish market (Tokyo) for 200K!!! Some lucky sucker got some killer fish :D I actually ate some fish there on two occasions.... Best fish I have ever had. I paid $75 at the door for 11 pieces :) I guess the chef liked me because he kicked my GF and I each down an extra piece of our choice..... :p

Okay, got some news, not much though...

Just got off the phone with Victor from ATB USA...... Guess who's skimmer just shipped out from Austria???????

I'm pacing up and down my office already like my GF is in labor

LOL Nice thread. love all the fishes and gals too...LOL

Sweet tank Jim, can't wait to see when you stock up sps mate.

Adrian

Well, you do have a new *baby* on the way! :) Congrats!

Ahhhh Mikuni :D

Sounds delicious, but have lunch plans w/ the old man and GF :) I will take a rain check though, as Mikuni ALWAYS sounds good ;)

The Med ATB cone is rated at 480. But mine will be an external "prototype" if you will as I will be the first person over here (and maybe there, I really don't know) to actually run one. The RC configuration is supposed to increase efficiency. IMHO, I don't know how much it will. I just want to be able to feed the skimmer from the drain, as that is how I feel the most nutrient rich water is delivered right to the skimmer.

The thing is that the skimmers is more or less the same size as my ER, and draws in the same amount of air. It maybe more efficient due to the cone shape and bubble plate, but I'm confident that I the size will be okay for the tank :)

Thanks Adrian!!! I can't wait to start growing some sticks too :D
