Dude, I'm a HUGE fan of cool and exotic stuff that people don't have. But I definitely have a limit on what I will spend on something that could very well be floating at any given time for a number of reasons.

Gem Tang = really cool. $5000 cool? Maybe if made like $200k a year. But I in no way can afford a fish like that!!

Maybe you can get it cheaper out there.

Clarions are cool when they are small, but as they grow, IMO they lose their eye appeal. I almost pulled the trigger on a pair a africanus', but I could not justify a fish that will only get uglier as they grow. That is why I've never got a chevron.

Mark, I hear you. Thats part of the reason why I have been so hesitant on the CT too.

Its just so tough to decide..... I was ready to buy John's Dussumier, but he didn't want deal with getting out of the tank it was in

I have seen one in person, one time.

It was up at a shop called aqua life.

They are great/beautiful fish. I just feel they lose some of their beauty as their color darkens. But you know what they say... Beauty is in the eye of the beholder

Yeah, great fish. I really like the Tang that the guy from Reef Specialty has. Mark was telling me about it. What are they called? JR has one in his avatar now too....
