2 hrs:eek1: ;)

Lokks great Jim. Knew that thing was going to kick butt!:)

Thanks D.

Yeah, I'm really happy :smokin:

Sweet set up Jim!!! Sac Town is really turning out some kick @$$ tanks these days. Back in the days there were only a handfull of primo tanks, now we have a good solid group hard core reefers!!!

Come to think of it I'm pretty sure I helped John lug that sucker back from L.A. Keep up the good work!!

Thanks Rob!!!

I've got a lot of stocking to do, and some serious sps husbandry skills to catch up on, but hopefully I can get this baby dialed in.

Thanks for helping John lug this puppy up here

It was pretty heavy :)

Cheers,

Jim

Update:

I added a DSB to my sump this evening. 60#'s. The thick section is 6" deep.

My goal is to basically add life, diversity, stability and feed the sps corals from built up nutrients.

What do you guys think? Should I add 40 more pounds? Fill the whole bottom up? Or leave it?

My plan was to fill the bottom, but I didn't buy enough sand. I'd have to pick some more up tomorrow.

Opinions??

:)

Yeah, I was in such a hurry to get a response I left a couple "important" things out

Okay, so you say finish it off? I think another 40-50 #'s will be enough.

YGPM :)

Should be plenty.

PM back at ya!

Whats this PM stuff? Jim what kinda sand did you get and where? When i get my tank going i want to add a ssb to my display

No biggie. I was gonna head up there tomorrow when I go to YR, but Jeremy's gonna be gone.

I added #0 aragonite that I bought from O st.

When I add a SSB to the display I will use the bags of large agagonite (like 80 lbs) then do like 40 lbs of #2 to fill in some of the cracks.

What are you gonna use?

I have no idea. Thats why i was asking you:) I have heard the Live sand is a gimmick and waste of money?

Can use some sand i have now to seed whatever i get. I want a nice looking sand
