Not hardly! I sold everything else off and consolidated. I can't get myself to take care of more than 1 system, and it'd be nuts to have a skimmer that cost more than the rest of the tank, including corals. Especially when I have expensive taste in corals.

Once a price tag enters the situation, its hard to validate.

I already started her fund, "its called Emma's Jedi Mind Trick fund", but who knows. I am just tired.

Sorry Jim for this going down in your thread. Lets just kill this and stay tuned in the for sale forum.

You leave the office and go on some sales calls and come back to this????

Mark, you have been a great inspiration for me in the short time that I have known you. You have amazing husbandry skills and a wealth of knowledge that helps others (like myself) along. But only you know what is best for Mark P. If you are feeling like its time to pull the rip cords, and have thought it out thoroughly, then I know that your decision is whats best for you and your family. I support you all the way whatever you decide, although if you decide to leave, our local community will lose another valuable asset as you bring so much to the table.

I urge you to not leave as nothing you have done can't be "undone", and even though that money could have been spent elsewhere, its not the last 20k you're going to make. I mean, look at the look on Emma's face :) She knows that tank makes her daddy happy, so in turn she is happy :) But if the tank no longer makes you happy, then you have already made you decision.

However, I hope that your interest in the hobby never dies though, and you can always live vicariously through your friends tanks here in town, until the time is right for you to begin again.

You're a stand up guy, and even though I have only known you for a short time, I have great respect for you. If you ever want to talk, you know my number :D

Cheers buddy,

Jim

Oh no, you too???

If anyone should be quitting, it's me with my f'in flatworms and redbugs! You guys have it good. Everything's relative :)

Jim,

WHats up? This will be the last night we might be seeing Jim for awhile.

You going with the Helio's? How old are the bulbs you have now?

I think you should go with them just so i can see what they looks like. I like seeing the diffrent bulbs and that is one i have been wanting to try

Whats up!! I'll be around tonight and tomorrow, but I've just been doing stuff around the house.

Davey, I think the Helios are the best choice for me now. I can run them with great results on my M58 for now, and when I have the funds, I can make my move on electronic or HQI ballasts. I'll prolly pick them up in a couple of weeks.

My bulbs now are like 6 months.

Jim, I am tading one of my radiums for a helios to see how they look in comparison on a BW ballast.

I do miss my helios. Radiums are very nice. but until I see the helios in a SE version on my tank, I will never now ;)
