These are the pics of my Joculator pair. Female is about 3months old. Male is added yesterday, however it thriving in other ppl tank for about 2 years before selling it to me. I notice that male Jocs tends to be longer therefore sized bigger, gill spine is longer and has bluish pattern on end of dorsal fin. My female is rather established and commanding a harem of flame angel including the alpha male.

Enjoy the pics folks

stunreefer: thanks alot! Absolutely love Jocs

mpoletti: Ur joculators are an inspiration to me. Yes they can be rather dominating especially towards other dwarfies due to their size.

Sorry bros for those who can't view the pic. I actually linked it from Singapore Reef Club. You guys can view the pics there as well.

Sheol: They are nothing like bi-colours. Their colours are stunning, have interesting behavior and most important of all, many more times hardier than a bi-colour:fun2::fun2::fun2:

Thanks. Sanjay and my friend Stacie were the people that led me down this path and I thank them almost every day :p

What other pygmies do you have with them?

Congrats. How big? I have been waiting for a small pair to swim into my laps for a couple of yrs now. I really think they are distinctive and nowhere like the bicolors. Don't get me wrong, bicolors are beautiful in its own ways too and would jump on small pair as well. Hopefully, this year something will come.

Guess its time for me to thank you everyday:lmao::lmao: Yes, Sanjay's spawning pair was awesome.

I have my pair with a harem of 4 flame angels. A little centropyge crazy I know:spin2::spin2:

Male is about 4 inches, female is about 3. Bi-colours are awesome but nowhere as hardy and as "reef-safe" as a Joc would be.:)
