This is also going oin the garage but the plan once we move this baby is going inside. AGE will use 1'' pvc cnc bottom of the tank and two part epoxy to able to make it rimless.Originally posted by Dancing4raiin
Is this tank going in your house, or will it stay in the garage? What is a pvc bottom?

Going with a pre-filter type overflow that will be 20''x6''hx3'' with cover and will have three different made to controll and change waterlevel to what ever I want.
Also the last hole on the right will be plumb directly to my skimmmer gravity fed.
Thank you Bricky for your input. I have a rimless frag tank for over a year now and thats the mistake I made then and will not make it again. I have seen tanks on reefcental and see the same mistake I made and feel for them as the waterlevel is to high and limits the flow on the tank. Yes I will be able to adjust the waterlevel and think 2.5'' will be perfect but will be able to go lower if need to.Originally posted by Bricky
I hope what your saying is that you can adjust the height of the water in your display. I've seen other AGE tanks with a standard type overflow and the water is only about an inch from the top. That's way to close. Believe me, I have an Elos tank with the water level at about 2.5" from the top and I would say that that's perfect. Very little splashing from fish, and tank magnet splashing is minimal. You'll also have more room for error.
Good luck with a great tank.
