Juan's Deep Blue Edge Series Reef Cube.

I was thinking about purchasing one. The space that I have in my sump between the baffles is 10" so I really don't have much room for any other skimmer.

Space is a bit tight for this particular skimmer, on the suction side 10" will give you just enough space for the electricity cable and about 1" in between the panel and the socket... On the regulator side you'll need at least 10 1/4".

Feel free to PM if buying a barely used one will do for you :twitch:

Ended up with a custom made sump by my local fish store (Aquarium Concepts), it will be a 22" x 17" x 18", it will have a 12" x 12" skimmer chamber and a platform for the dozing pump (In transit)... I honestly don't know if they made a mistake, but $ 140.00 seemed way too inexpensive for custom made (I'm sure the phone will ring some time soon).

I did receive the Aquatica Radion bracket today though... It looks a lot better than I expected

The bracket is not cheap, it was $ 195.00 plus ship... BUT it is pretty much the one and only option available at this point in time.

Thanks guys, already passed by Walgreens to get some Zanax... These two weeks are going to be really long!!!!
BUT, at least it will give me some time to work on the wall, I want to install a higher amperage switch and a 6X outlet.

Played a little with the Chiller this afternoon, is a JBJ Arctica 1/10 but it seems to need calibration.

AND ordered a 28 x 28 x 1/2 acrylic sheet with the intention of distributing the weight of the tank evenly over the marble floors (The least I want is to get in trouble with the missus over a cracked tile).

Is the Aquatica Radion bracket made out of acrylic and usable for both rimless and tank with trim? I've been thinking about getting a 60G cube like yours as the 93G cube is too big.

Correct, they will ask if your tank is rimless or framed when you order, they have both options.

Acrylic panel arrived today...

Electricity guy coming on Friday and a handy guy to fix the wall on Saturday

Looks like you're off to a great start!

Thank you Eric... Very high hopes on this build.

Just ran into an issue with the Chiller... It starts OK and cools fine on the first run, it reaches the desired temp and turns off, but once it kicks in again gets really hot and stays on forever.

Contacted JBJ and we couldn't figure out the problem :headwallblue:, they said I should do a back flush or make sure the fan is attached to the frame... I will be sending the unit for maintenance directly to them and they think it would take about two weeks.

God: -"Get ready to have your perseverance tested"-

:fish2:

Yup, I decided for the 24 x 24 x 24... Was very excited with the 24 x 24 x 10 initially, but I'm afraid it would be populated and overgrown too quick.

the tank still seats in the exact same spot since the day I brought it home, will be working on the electricity outlets tomorrow and doing the necessary repairs to the wall on Saturday.
