July PROP auction follow up

A big thanks to the FRAG group for a great PROP auction yesterday. The coral selection was awesome and it was one of the best crowds I ever remember seeing at the monthly events. I ended up with some neat new additions and especially like the Daisy Duke palys I won from Vanpire. If anyone needs any help with the corals that came from me, just let me know. They were D1-D15. JP

I want send a big thanks to FRAG/PROP as well. This was my first event since moving here and it was a great time! Met some great people and got exactly what I wanted from my list. Couldn't have been any better. I'm looking forward to the next club meeting and the inevitable purchases, trades, and meet ups in between!

Hey Jeff, I was able to win your pink Aussie acro and had a quick question. Do you believe the pink Aussie is fairly light sensitive? Generally with acro's I don't spend much time with light acclimation. So far I am seeing great polyp extension and color. I just want to make sure I'm not going to hurt this acro with too much light too soon.

I agree with SkullV and porter about the auction, great turn out and fantastic coral selection! Thank you to all of the prop guys who made this auction happen!

Riley, I doubt you'll give the acro too much light. My colony is up top, right in the middle of 2 MH's. It's a quick grower and pretty aggressive so I'd give it some room to encrust. I have another acro that grew into it and quickly grew the opposite way. It's also holding it's own against a couple month's. JP

I'm new to the area, and I was finally able to start a 45 gallon cube reef tank. It was too early to purchase at the last auction, but I went to see how the process works. You guys have the auction down to a science.

When I signed up with AZPROP I listed my reef central id name incorrectly on the application. Who do I need to contact to get it changed?

It really doesn't make a difference. So long as I have enough information to find you when I look up your number at the next auction, we're fine. Worst case scenario, I would just create a new bidder number for you.
