Try to ignore the nasty cyano i continue to struggle with :(. I'm down to 30g weekly water changes because of the severe drought conditions we are in. Giving Dr. Tim's Waste Away a shot since it worked very well in the gym tank i used to maintain.

Also...the cat's outta the Bag! Replaced my (3) 250w MH with (5) OceanRevive T247 beginning in March. Slowly dialed in the color and intensity on them to match the Phoenix 14k and so far, so good. Long term...we'll have to see but i'm keeping my MH just in case. Heck, maybe switch back in the winter? I ain't giving up the VHO's though!

Good stuff Tim. Nice update.

I'm down to zero water changes, because of the drought, of course. :p

I am picking up another 300 gallon container to save my rodi waste water. I am also getting rid of the lawn in the back so I do not have to water and mow the back lawn. Putting in pavers.

Your tank looks great, Tim. I really gotta get up there and see it. It has been too long. Hope you and your family are doing as well as your tank:thumbsup:

Really wouldn't have noticed the cyano with out you saying anything. Are you still offsetting the lights over the tank to keep the heat down?

Lookin good Tim. I'd been wondering how the drought will affect people's maintenance routines. May necessitate some new strategies!

So Tim please honest review! What do you think of the Arctics over your tank? They are sweet looking. Are you running them on your controller?

Beautiful little world you have there Tim! Trying to ignore the corals to see the cyano, but no success... :(

Tim tank looks amazing, would love to hear your opinions on the oceanrevives after you've had them for 6-12 months.

wouldn't you know it...day after i posted these pics...the Green Dragon colony began to RTN. i'm hoping its because of alk creep (was at 11.5) but ya never know :(.

neil, text me if you're ever in the area and want to stop by.

the ocean revive t247's aren't fancy and don't have all the bells and whistles but i don't need that stuff. heck, i've got an apex controller out in the garage from the gym tank that isn't even being used!

I will...hopefully soon. That is a huge bummer about the green dragon. That colony is awesome! Has it continued to RTN? I am really loving these smooth-skins lately, but they are touchy sometimes:headwally:

Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Kevin your alive!! When are you gonna shows us your new system you've been talking about setting up for a few yrs now?
