I try to change 50 gallons a week, Mark. Sometimes it doesn't happen. Protoplaythoa definitely reproduce faster when fed. The zoanthids are reproducing at (what I feel) a decent rate considering I don't give them any special care.

I was hoping to avoid big frequent water changes in my new system, but, seeing as its larger than my last one, and everything will be on the same floor, AND hooked into the house's plumbing.....I have a sneaking suspicion that I'll fall back into my old habits. I'm setting it up that way from the get go. I can decide later if I want to be lazy, or vigalent.

What are you using for a 50 gallon container Gary?

I don't think I have the room for the old 44 gallon Brutes. I may have to run 3 of the 32's in series The wife's not gonna be happy about the loss of closet space......

Gary, I'm curious, when and where did you get your emp? I think we may have gotten our fish around the same time, at the same stage. Mine came from reefhotspot.

(the dates on my pics are wrong, I didn't have the camera set right - should have been 2008 when I took the pics - I got my angel, I think, in early 2007)
