In all seriousness, shame on anyone that lives in or around RNY and hasn't seen it in person. The incidental bubble blaster makes it look and feel like you're snorkeling on a natural reef. Awesome!!!

Hector (Powder Blue) is alpha Tang. Achilles is second. YT's at the bottom. Bristletooth rarely bothers anyone else and nobody really bothers him.

Side note, what are you running for lighting?
I just switched over to LED's and gotta admit....none of my Ritteri's have moved. One actually bleached a little.

I'm using Radions for most of my set up, and I'm not at 100% intensity. I dont know what electricity prices are where you're at, but between the cost of replacing Phoenix 14K 250 w bulbs every year, (5 at once) and the higher electrical usage, (1250 watts of MH, plus 190 watts of VHO's and 110 watt of PC's...1550 watts total, vs 564 watts for LED's that last 10 plus years and I'm getting acro growth at the same rate), I'm glad I switched over.
No idea what my yearly electrical savings will be...

Just curious...sorry for hijack. Go back to your Waffle's or Frech Toast, or Toaster Strudels....

thanks for kind words, Scott. 3 YT Chromis remain out of about a dozen. All Chromis introduced around the same time. The greens are bold and always out above the reef while the YT's tend to hang low and inconspicuous.
I might also note that one of my 3 yellow tangs apears to have taken some abuse today. Coral growth is phenom.

I didn't look them up but that name sounds very familiar. Those little YT Chromis are among the hardiest of marine fishes IME. There are several look alike species. Kids love 'em. The color is unreal. (You know!)
Seeing an electric blue Chrysiptera damsel for the first time is what got me into this!
