Somebody noticed and said something!
Anemone is gone!
Traded away. Mainly because it liked to climb high...
Which resulted in dead sps

WAT?

Heresy Gary.

One does not just "trade away" a multicolor gigantea because it likes to climb!

One builds it a pedestal to climb up on and keep it from killing SPS!

You should. Obviously, the only way to rectify that mistake is to go get another one or better yet, an H.magnifica anemone.

And some waffles.....waffles will help.

Are you kidding? Lots of flow, high light.....

H.mag is a great anemone for an SPS tank. You just need to put it on an island where it cant go anywhere....

And it's not like you dont have a source for healthy ones anywhere in NY....Dont you and Joe Yaiullo hang out or am I confusing you with someone else?

I'm really just giving you a hard time...If you decided an anemone isnt right for your tank, you would know better than anyone else. I happen to have a couple of H.magnifica anemones and really enjoy them, so I admit I'm heavily biased....

Beautiful red base H.mag. I've got three right now. One brown based with yellow tips that I've had for 10 years as of next month, and two different purple based H.mags...

I'm in the process of rebooting my 120 and trying to shoe horn in those three anemones with some SPS.....

Help homeless clowns.
For only 50 cents a day, you can help homeless clowns. Your generous donation will help these beautiful fish get a loving home that grows with them.*

Wont you help today?

Nice photo Gary! I think you addressed this before, but any issues with the Kleini butterfly?

You have the Klein's and the Semilarvatus, right? Any other butterflies in your reef?

Gary - I haven't browsed this thread in a while. Tank looks superb, but most glad to see a new emperor! I really miss mine.

thanks!

thanks!

I work from cell phone nowadays so pix aren't as clear as they used to be. The little guy has started grunting recently.
Kinda like a baby Simba roaring :lmao:

Lol....

If/When I get a larger tank that can comfortably house an Imperator, I will be buying one.

Always been one of my favorite fish.
