Just a little early June Alaskan shots

Well I was out looking for foxes and didnt see hide nor hair, so I took some other random nature shots.

A lot of these needed to be on a tripod or me not be huffing and puffing, but oh well, for handheld and no IS they turned out good enough for me to like

I dont know why, but the dry mud covered in ash from the exploding volcano we had this winter looked cool to me.

I also like the cracked earth with grass trying to survive shot. All kinds of metaphorical goodness there.

Looking for foxes eh? Me too, though usually the human female variety.

I have no clue on the flower, I had never seen one before either, but they are very nice looking.

Yeah, I had my wife with me, so if I had seen that sort of fox, I wouldnt be taking any pictures
