Lol, yes, they were real. The blue was a Blue tort that was a brown frag when I got it. The next was a raspberry tort. I got it in on a shipment and it really colored up in my tank. The last one is my baby. I got a tiny little chip of brown efflo and the rest is history. It started to turn blue and then it became the center piece of my 125g reef. I was tearful when I broke my tanks down and had to sell it.
And that is why he is know as the "Thread Stoppa" in the Tampa area, nobody would want to post pics after Jason shared his pics....lol... Thanks for sharing Jason!!!
Daddyjax, i have to ask what kind of acro is that last one. Its like peach/orange with purple polyps. WOW! Did you get that acro like that or did it change color?
My corals are spread out all over the Tampa area when I took my tanks down so I hope to get some frags back from some of them!
You were right about the 10k. I used 12k to supplement for the blue. My bulb of choice was the ReefLux. The color spectrum that the 10k gives is very rare. The corals really responded to them.
Here you go Jason,
Got this piece awhile back from John(FAOIS), not nearly as beautiful as yours, but I think it has potential, specifically with the yellow base. As you can see the tips are trying hard to turn blue, only time will tell, this is the show piece in my tank....
So looking at all the crazy acros ive been told not to let them touch or they will kill each other . Not on this thread some of the reefers on hear got them stacked like lumber so whats the truth can they touch only cirtane ones can someone PLEASE tell me?
