It is greenish with bright green dots at the end of each bubble. The foot is deep red. I literally went, "Whoa!" when I saw it at the lfs. The price was right at $34.99, but... it was tightly attached and would not let go, no way, no how, to a rock which had a pretty large coral on the other side. Bummer! Fortunately, the lfs was having a 50% sale on all corals and they gave me another 15% off the coral so I wound up getting a gorgeous anemone and a cool coral which I have never seen before for under $50.
They had the coral listed as a sand brain. It is reddish/brown with a light green edge all the way around. The tissue is very flat against the rock and it has 3 mouths. There is a small area of tissue loss on one edge but I think that part had been under the sand. Its' not bad and I'm hoping it will heal itself. It's about 5" across. It's really kind unusual looking. I'm just hoping mr. anemone decides to look for happier hunting grounds soon. I have him close to other rocks, just touching.
He was pretty stressed from me trying to gently pry him off the rock. I also held him in some powerhead flow hoping he'd loosen up. He pulled way in and had his mouth open but nothing was coming out. I acclimated him and put him in the tank with the lights down low. He's now starting to bubble up a little and his mouth is closing again.
Hopefully by tomorrow he will have placed himself in some desirable spot in the tank (yeah, right) and open up in his full glory. When he does I'll post some pics.
