About 6", fat boy. Eating a bit of brine but I know brine shrimp doesnt have that much of a nutritional value. Any suggestions? I think im going to try nls finiky forumla tomorrow. I will try to get pics, he is kinda shy.

Awesome, congrats!

Initially keep him eating whatever it will take. Down the line try introducing other foods as you can.

Congrats on the fish, you will love this species. I have had good luck with New Life Spectrum pellets and angels in particular, even the finicky types. All of the species I have kept took to this food quickly including my majestic. I feed allm of my fish enriched brine, large and mysis, formula 1 & 2, angel formula, nori, and a homemade seafood mash (shrimp, fish, scallops, clams, squid, whatever seafood looks fresh, vitamins, zoe, selcon ect. in the food processor). Mine started out shy and is still one of the first fish to bolt into the rockwork but is generally really bold now and is the undisputed boss of the tank.

Nori , half shell clams are good food for shy fish... sooner will be so bold that will spit pellets back to you like mine ...

I've had mine for a little over a month, for the longest time he'd only eat San Francisco Bay brand "Angel and Butterfly" frozen cubes. Now he'll also eat Mysis and rip nori sheets to shreds and leave them all over the tank. I have no idea how much of it he eats, but he does eat nori now.... He still wont eat pellets or any of the frozen stuff thats just for Angels, but he seems to be coming around.
Try a lot of stuff, you'll find something.
