Been a profilux 3ex user for years. Great controller! In fact, I bought two as I thought I need a back up. That back up has been collecting dust.

Do you know if there's anywhere you can store and track tanks parameters? Likes nitrates, phosphate, and ALK etc?

there's probably a tracking software somewhere. Just use excel.
But I guarantee you after the 5th time, you'll stop doing it. Lol

The ProfiLux 4 will automatically monitor your probe readings which can then be displayed on a graph. The amount of data that is collected can be configured how ever you wish.

I've run both on my systems and have had some hands on experience with the Apex 2016 as well as the Profilux and have seen the P4 first hand. I've been a long time Apex user but also run a Profilux on my system as well and really like it. The Profilux is a rock solid controller with a long and proven history of reliability and excellent quality backed by great support. It has a lot of expansion options which lends itself well to virtually any system and installation. It's easy to setup and program and you really won't find a more bullet proof controller. That said, you really can't go wrong with the Profilux.

When I finish my fish room I'm going to mount a tablet on the wall for keeping records so I don't need to pull my laptop out all the time.
Here is the last 30 days of my coral and invert QT. All of my tanks are on the same spreadsheet. For this tank I start a new table each time I empty the livestock into my other tanks. I've been having issues with precipitation in this tank and have hopefully resolved it now. Having good record of what I have done definitely helps with problem solving. you can see patterns and determine your testing intervals based on that data.

Man it's been so difficult just to buy the profilux in Hong Kong. German customer support never responded to me. I can't buy online . My business may just go to Neptune Systems.

GHL German customer support is the worst I've ever encountered. US support is better.
