Karim's in wall 380g tank

It was a hit, so I put Mysis in it. Then I put raw shrimp in Kale in Nori

and good news!! my yellow wrasse is healing up!

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/7kQkpImJLQI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I put a shrimp soaked in selcon in my feeder close to the sand... she sat there and munched away.. hiding in the sand right next to it... a week later - spine has healed up!

I didn't do anything really... I just left her alone and the tank is just big enough that there's little to no aggression from other fish. I think a combination of having a safe environment, the sandbed, and plentiful fatty foods with vitamins and garlic (that I usually provide anyway) did it.

The only modification is to make it more accessible. I usually add two feeders. This way, the other fish were distracted with the mid-water feeder while she could feed on the lower one at the other end of the tank.

Thank you for the good wishes. :)

Woohoo! New shrimp babies! Looks much bigger than the ghost shrimp fry and coincident with my coral banded shrimps being pregnant:

Swapped for this tiny frag - supposed to be a Diablo Milli? I don't know enough to tell, to be honest.

Tried collard greens. Ok, but not as good as kale.

I realize this is the SPS threadlist, but I thought I'd expand to my other curiosities :)

Mr Ugly came in "unwanted". I didn't order him and when the seller knew that they couldn't fulfill my order, they included him as a "makeup gift". While not a very pretty fish, he makes up for it with a lot of character... here he is in his "BUNKER" made of sand, coral, shell and rock. He's been there for a almost 18 months now... rarely seen by people, but very well noticed by the other fish who wander too close to his fortifications.

That's a cool fish regardless! And that's great to hear that he does well in a big tank with lots of fast fish surrounding him. I would actually love to have a jawfish in my tank but I'm very concerned that he'd be able to fit through the screen mesh. They are SOOO good at that. Your tank isn't even covered though is it?

No cover. It does have a 3" eurobrace. It seems like that peripheral space is the most likely "jump zone".

I've only had a couple of fish jump though - both were sand sifter gobies...

note this is with a flashlight so colors are as basic as it gets

still.. they look happy. Some of them got the food before I could video their open polyps, so they were already chowing down.
