there is only one thing i could think of that might go wrong if you drill the seio's and insert the airline directly into the seio.... that would be that there might be a venturi effect, and the seio would never stop sucking air. even if the air pump is off, there is no mechanism that would keep the seio from sucking air right through the air pump, even if the air pump isnt running. thats what that open ended cylinder is for on weathersons system.

although, the seio's might not suck hard enough for that venturi effect to happen. if i were you i WOULD drill the seio's and insert the airline tubing directly like you have planned. if you turn off the airpump, and the seio's are still blowing air, you'll have to just attach the airline close to the inlet of the seio's by using a plastic clamp, or rubberband. it should be very, very simple, no matter what you do!

to get Farenheit you mult celcius times 2 and add 32 to it

19C=70 F
29 C=90 F

Getting money first, I should get some from work next week. I got some pics of the RO unit now:

Here is how i hooked the waste line up because the waste clamp wouldnt fit on the piping:

WHAT THE HECK IS THAT THING UNDER YOUR SINK? :lol: is that "s" shaped pipe the standard type of p-trap used in england? ive never seen one of thoes before. thats neat.

:lol: That was just the plumbing that was there when we moved into the house. Not what we usually have.

Ok, I can't do this. There is so many beautiful fish out there. I will base the rockwork and corals on what i saw in the Red Sea but fish-wise its humanly impossible so, the new fish list will be coming soon........again.

Sorry Capn, but the formula for C to F is;

(9/5)*C+32 or 9 divide by 5, times C(temp), plus 32
Thus 19C = 66.2F and 29C = 84.2F

for F to C it is;
(5/9)*(F-32)

Its going to be towards the end of july before the tank is filled because i am going on holiday and i want to wait till i get back to do anything, if the tank was mature i wouldnt have a problem going but id just rather wait so i can keep on top of things. So consider this thread the planning stage

Forgot to mention where i am going. Red Sea Egypt for the 3rd time in 10 weeks!!! Aaron (aaronovky) will be coming along aswell. Ill be sure to get some pics of the fishies and coral and upload them on my next thread. BTW its not the 3rd time in 10 weeks im going in 10 weeks and it will be third time ive been :lol: Just to point that out.

mine was for a quick estimate which really helps us in Canada, decide wether to wear shorts or not



9/5 is 1.8 which is close to 2 times for a quick estimate

Yea, probably good enough for deciding on shorts.:lol:

I'm not trying to bust your chops here and I've read a lot of your threads, but if kar93 is trying to emulate the Red Sea I think the difference between 90F and 84F on someones reef tank is significant.
