It's actually the easiest tank in the house. The other tenant, that you can kinda see in the picks, is Patrick the starfish. He's HUGE. Moves like and eats like an octopus. My cleanup crew consists of nasty crabs from my tanks and other people's tanks (so if you ever need to get rid of one, let me know). Coral wise, some palys, some ricordea and other misc mushrooms....and the aiptasia forest. :wildone:
Every other day, I feed frozen krill. Darth will eat two or three whole krill, the betta eats at least one chopped up, the eel is the most aggressive, grabbing food from others and wrapping his body around it. Patrick, once everyone else is happy (already had snowflake nip me once...not fun) gets a whole jumbo shrimp from Weggies. Coral wise...i don't spend too much time worrying about them...when I think of it, i throw some coral frenzy in there.
water changes here are done to maximize the use of salt...any water changes on the 120g or 90g go to changes on the 55g.
If you are on the fence about starting one? Go for it. I love mine. Next add to that tank will be a trigger fish.
(and thank you! experimenting with some Jackson Pollock techniques on canvas. other paintings of mine are in a gallery on my RC page. So visit....hee hee.)
