Tank was started on Christmas 2011 so it is a few months shy of the one year mark. This is my second reef tank, the first was a BioCube 14 which was retured earlier this year. I also had a contest Pico which was retured because the contest fell of the face of the earth. Ha.

Looks great, nice corals! What kind of lights are you using? I ditched my RSM 130D and built a custom setup. It was a fun little tank.

Wow those colours are amazing! How do you make it so bright? What lighting do you use and what do you feed?

Thanks. I have the stock T5s, supplemented with 2 Ecoxotic Panorama PRO's, 1 Ecoxotic Stunner strip and 1 Marineland Accent LED.

That is one beautiful tank! Should make all us RSM owners proud!!!!
Thank you Spiro. ;)

wow looks great
Thanks!

Great job as always, impeccable color and poise, what else would we expect ma'am./
Hi Brandon, thanks for the comment.

I've seen this somewhere before...
But, always a pleasure :)
Ha ha. I'm re-doing the fuge in a few weeks. You will have to let me know what you think.

The brightness is the natural fluorescence of the corals themselves in the actinic picture. The other pictures are just in my everyday light. I feed lots of different foods: live phyto, new spectrum pellets, golden pearls, nutramar ova (mostly for my mandarin), rotifers, mysis, cyclops, fresh fish roe from the Japanese supermarket, copepods, reef cleaners filter feeder formula. Not all on the same day of course. :)

I would love to have one of those tanks colors look great. I can see why it would keep you up at night
:) thank you.

I had 2 ecoxotic 453 stunners under my RSM hood. I would love to see a pic of the under side of your hood. It would be interesting to see how you mounted everything.

Very crafty! I like where the stunner got placed, I never thought of that! I see where the two panoramas got placed but I don't see the marineland fixture?

Many nice looking nanos on the board right now, and this is definitely in my top 5, well done Kat!!!
Loving the coloration, nice pics too, great photo skills...

That looks amazing! U have any daylight fts?
Thanks. This pic was taken Oct 3, it has changed a little bit since then

The marineland is suction-cupped to the front glass wall facing the tank. It is pretty slim and submersible so that is where I opted to put it for now, have been lazy to mount it to the hood.

the first picture looks really nice, but may i ask if you photoshopped it? the coralline is discoloured and glows.
Hi Bob. Thanks. No photoshopping was done, I added light as the pictures were very dark. Coralline does glow at night BTW, mostly in area where it is dieing. It turns orange and that glows at night. I have several species of coralline in the tank. There are 2 that intermingle to give a water color appearance. And that somehow glows a lot under actinics.
This picture shows you a little bit of that coralline:

Thank you so much.

Tank looks awesome! I'm a big fan of the zoas also, that and rics! Keep the photos coming, you have talent.

Oh my gosh! That is so amazing! I'm definitely want to use your pic for reference and inspiration for a future 16 gallon nano tank! I've been pulling my hair out these last couple weeks trying to model my coral placement on paper. Never can visualize on how it would look. Wonder if there's a nano tank CD program you can try and build from. LOL!

How many pounds of LR do you have in there? Again, that tank is awesome! Thank you for sharing!
