Kat's Fabulous Red Sea Max

So after seeing your flower nem, I pulled the trigger on one I had been eyeballing for a while. I can't wait for it to come in.

Wow, $85 a head is pricey. I think I gave $15-20 for 2 heads and a baby when I bought my paly grandis frag. They're about as green as yours show in the pics...maybe a little less. The store that sold me mine got theirs in as a store credit trade, as they do a lot of coral, and they always sell those pretty cheap. I knew I got a good deal, but not that good.

Your tank is awesome, btw. It's impressive to see that much livestock crammed all together successfully.

Yeah, I wouldn't think of listing mine at that price. But frag prices out there can be insane.

The tank is stuffed. I call it the dishwasher trick. If you place everything a certain way you can stuff it :D

That's awesome, they're really cool animals.

WWWWWWWWOOOOOWWWW ! Amazing tank, metrokat!!!!!!!

Dumb question -- how do you manage to keep your zoas with the strong lighting that you have? I added a single (blue) panorame pro to my RSM130 and all my zoas died, my mushrooms shrank and my duncans went into shock... none of them recovered until I took it out.

Right now I have 4 T5 bulbs with a Full SPectrum LED Hybrid light blasting the tank. When I had the stock lights I had 2 panorama PROs and they were great!
Did you acclimate your corals to the light? When I switched to the Hybrid I acclimated for 4 weeks using window screens and dimmer and also slowly increasing the photo period.

Your tank is still gorgeous! Thanks for sharing. BTW - I'm still waiting on starting my first SW tank. I've been looking at getting athe Innovative Marine 16 Nuvo tank.

You won't be disappointed...I love my nuvo

I want one so bad but I'm currently stuck with a 10 gallon FW tank because my son wanted neons, corycats, and a German Blue Ram. Not to mention the missus says not now due to financial constraints/priorities. Oh well... LOL!

If and when I do finally get my Nuvo 16, my plan was to have a pair of clowns (Occelleris regular and B&W) and a Scarlet Cleaner shrimp.

O Damn! Very Nice composition u got there. I bet it looks crazy under actinics in person. Happy birthday lol. The Hawaiian zoanthids are hot

My secret Santa was wonderful this year. He had a light meter that he let me borrow and sent along with my gifts.
