Kat's Fabulous Red Sea Max

Amazing collection of zoas and SPS in there. The way you are growing your sticks, I suspect you will be either selling frags frequently or moving to the large tank forum!

Everyone is always suggesting an upgrade but I am quite happy with this tank. It was full and now its not since I sold off most of my big SPS colonies to make room for new higher end acros. I am constantly fragging and selling SPS.

Thank you! I am currently re-doing it all. Sold off my big SPS colonies of birdsnests and such to make room for higher end uber exotic acroporas so I have quite a few coming in this week and already have the likes of red dragon, strawberry shortcake, etc

Here is the new right side of the tank

This is my goal for my 16 gallon. ZOA garden below sps colonies up top. Beautiful tank.

I've noticed that. My tank is LPS dominant right night and they can be very aggressive. So far only the torch stung a coral once but it recovered and the torch was fragged and moved.

In would be happy about that tank as well. It's a jewel. I'll look for your frags in the sale forum once I get my new tank up and running.

Oh yes LPS fight dirty, they can quickly and completely eat coral flesh in proximity. Between sweepers and mesoterial filaments, those guys are powerful.

Sure thing. PM me if you don't see anything up for sale here, I usually post things on my local forum for a pick up drop off sale but I have shipped all over the country.

Thanks for posting Dave. The Hybrid T5/LED light is keeping the tank happy. I have a good and noticeable growth in the uber acros I recently purchased.

Lately I have been on a zoanthid run, recently got some Hawaiin PE colonies too. I am not too keen on buying small 1-2 polyp frags anymore. But I often don't have room for full colonies so I frag them and hope to sell them.

Other than that the clownfish are spawning, the mandarins should spawn soon (Bella the female is hydrated). I sold Gnocchi the bangaii cardinal fish to my buddy. He was getting far too big for my tank and was an agressive feeder too.

Beautiful Hawaiin PE colony

Ever since I saw your tank I fell in love with that Paly Grandis. I was finally able to track one down at RaP this year, for $10 nonetheless! I plan to put a sump on my 30RL one day and use your tank as an inspiration.

I agree with all the comments above this is my favorite nano on here. My zoas garden is growing though I'm catching up to you ;) lol

Tank looks great!!
Thank you Terry

Kat, I'm seriously in love with your tank oh my god!!!

Thank you

Amazing refugium! Really like the diversity in it as opposed to a giant mass of chaeto
The fuge needs an overhaul right now. I've got commensal flat worms, I bought a 6 line and a blue velvet nudi to deal with them and I have started siphoning them out. One of these days I will use flat worm exit.

$10?! HOLY COW! The "lineage" I have goes for $85 a head, it's truly the brightest green I have ever seen out there. They are almost ready to frag but I'm scared because they for sure have palytoxin. I'll figure it out. Be nice to pass on the big paly love.

amazing tank.
Thank you so much

Aww, lol.

Wow, $85 a head is pricey. I think I gave $15-20 for 2 heads and a baby when I bought my paly grandis frag. They're about as green as yours show in the pics...maybe a little less. The store that sold me mine got theirs in as a store credit trade, as they do a lot of coral, and they always sell those pretty cheap. I knew I got a good deal, but not that good.

Your tank is awesome, btw. It's impressive to see that much livestock crammed all together successfully.
