Waterbox Keeper
Kevin Kohen's azoox aquarium at the Diver's Den facility in Rhinelander, WI, is a third of a 180-gal. aquarium in his office. He's manually feeding the tank several times a day. Many more details in this week's Reef Threads podcast. Here is a collection of photos I captured during my recent visit.

Anin, the rest of the tank is some "regular" corals and some fish. Uhuru, the first shot is essentially all of the tank. I cropped a little off of the sides; on the right to eliminate reflections from blacked out glass and the left to eliminate the intruding light from the rest of the aquarium, which is lit for photosynthetic corals. The left side that I cropped is open space because a Vortech in the back left provides flow along that side.

You did get some incredible shots of his NPS tank

The tank is a Marineland 180 and is custom divided into three 2x2 sections. As Gary said, we'll have more details on the Reef Threads podcast this week.

Sara's description of the tank includes what he uses for filtration, but it's not anything unusual. The unusual part is that he's only using a third of a 180-gal. aquarium for azoox corals, so he has the other two thirds of "normal reef" water to handle the excess from the heavy feeding. But he has the same issues that all of us do, i.e., nutrient extraction and nitrate and phosphate control. He does water changes and manual feeding just like the rest of us.

OK how do you get to #13? I have never visited that site before, & I clicked on #13 every place I could find & it always played #12. Didn't see a way to change manually.

You can get it now. I'm an idiot. Copied from the previous week and forgot to change the file name in the code. Sorry for the hassle.
