Kevin's 8.4g Harse Design Build

So far the tank is doing great, salinity level is stable which worried me a little bit, so far so good. Today I picked some frags from Franky, I'll let the pics talk.
First project: This is a Pink Boobies Chalice that doesn't have its original color, so I'll make sure it comes back.

Better be in acclimation mode on that light! Gonna grow the skeleton over the tissue lol. Glad it's finally up and running bud!
 
Hello, long update. The tank is doing great so far. Water changes are being done every week and I'm not going through a lot of top off water. Water barely evaporates and the corals are doing good. Here are a couple of pictures.

That rainbow Palooza acan oooh was so nice. I need a piece kevin lol. I may need to come over and take a pic for you so they can see just how nice that thing really is.

I guess is time for a little update. It turned out that I can't keep acans so I'm done with them. I got two fish in the tank. A purple pseudochromis and a dragon face pipefish, both of them are doing well so far. Here is a quick pic of the tank, I'm getting a new bounce this weekend. I'll post more pics of each coral over the weekend. I'll have more corals after march 11th lol. Enjoy.

It's been a while. Here are some pics of a few corals and fish.
Set up. 8.6g with a radion, last generation. I have the lights on radiant mode and it peaks up to 30%. I made a couple of changes on the timing period.

I have two fishes in the tank, a mocha clown and a pipefish. I had a purple dotty (little sister's fish) that ended up jumping out couple weeks ago so she replaced it with a clownfish. Very friendly clown, comes up to the top every time someone passes by or looks at the tank.

I found this little cool shroom at a local fish store and I think I scored for $14.99. Later I found out it has a baby. The baby is currently in another plug glued and it's doing good.

This is my chalice corner.
CB Flaming Bugatti and JF Crazy Fox. I also have an original Pink Boobies Chalice (lineage to Puppy Center) and a watermelon chalice, they are projects. Got them a bit beat up and they are currently healing. I will post progress on them in the next couple of days.

The tank has been running for about a year now, I believe. It's time to get into sps and my testing sps piece is a Green Slimmer. Now let's see how it goes. Also, snails are doing their job cleaning the frag rack lol.
