Both are low. Phos on Hanna checker is usually 0 sometimes get a .004 etc was also running some gfo
Nitrates are usually around 10
I don't shoot for either being 0 and just stopped gfo use. I do dose vinegar and use prodibio regularly. I think the media just helps build up more biological filtration haven't seen any ill effects yet

Finally had a bit of time tonight to get a few things done to the tank.
First I hope I fixed the problem with my screen tops. Once I removed the kessils there was a bit of wiggle room in my screen top. My rhomboid found a way to squeeze out and ended up on top of the cover.....as i showed in another thread here. :sad1:
The new one fits as snug as possible. Hope it keeps everybody in the water!
Finally set up my expansion dosing pump. I have been using the original 3 heads on the bubble magus doser for Alk, Ca, Mg. I bought an additional a few months back and just set it up. Tonight I put my carbon source (red sea NO3 PO4 X) on and also Kalk water. I have been starting to use a lot of 2 part and have been measuring by hand how much kalk water I've put in to keep levels stable. So as the needs of the system go i'm going to just up the dose of Kalk slowly. I think I may use another head on this pump for kalk also so i don't have to refill the jugs as often.

Thanks. Just trying to grow out a happy healthy reef like you have. Easy to stay motivated with the last 3 tank tours at Charlies, yours, and richs.
