Kole tang eating nothing but microalgae?

Is it possible for a Kole tang to thrive eating nothing but microalgae? I've had one in a 120 for two weeks now and I haven't seen him eat any of the food I add (blended seafood, cylcop-eeze, and mysis). He does however, pick at microalgae all day long. I've tried adding algae sheets and live Ulva and Gracilaria which he ignores. He looks fat and healthy, but is this normal? My tank has become pretty much spotless now, so I think he'll have to start eating other things soon.

that's what they do. As long as its belly looks full and skin and color look good, let it play janitor all it wants.
