rofl i was looking at the threads today and noticed champion lighting had thier BOX O' CRAP for sale and couldnt resist so i ordered a box plus salifert nitrate test kit plus salifert flat worm exit(rather have it on hand just in case).
Haha... I had it in the cart twice but couldn't commit. I also added a bunch of other little supplies I needed to my order, but then thought to myself... wait a minute... what if that stuff comes in the Box o' Crap?

I know a few guys who ordered it as well. I can't wait to see what everyone gets.

its going to feel like christmas next week, i have my dj strips comming, misc salt water stuff), return pump, plumbing, glass bit and a box o' crap lol

The funny part about both tanks is that i have 6 fish between them, 2 tangs, clown goby, firefish, P.cardinal, and a algae blenny.

i have seen a 3.5" copperbanded for about a month at a LFS, finally decided to pick him up, since i was buying out of that tank i picked up his buddy the sunburst anthias. They will go in the 30 gallon for now and will both migrate to the 40, after i break down the 5 footer i will add the tangs and the copperbanded at the same time when i set it back up.

camera pic of the new anthias, will pick up batteries for the camera tomorrow. i only turned on the light to get a quick shot, after wards i noticed i had spilled some water during acclimation on the glass :(

woke up this morning to a cloudy tank, my mag 3 had slipped off the remora pro, in short it moved a bunch of sand. i had 6 gallon of 2 day old salt water left over from my water change on the 30 gallon so i used it for the 84 gallon kinda helped. It fell right above the kole tangs sleeping area but he was hiding on the other side of the tank(thought he jumped).

will update again after i go home for lunch in a couple of hours

The copperbanded and the sunburst ate last night. the sunburst tried jumping out of the bag several times during acclimation last night. i made a top for the 30 gallon out of egg crate last night just in case.

ordered some black acrylic for both tanks so i can use TJs method of hiding the overflow with the bean animal method.
i think i have just about everything, the only thing needed is a new skimmer. i have a msx 200 in my cart at marine solutions but i have been looking for a deal on a skimmer the same size, maybe a rs 180 or octo extreame, i would even consider a msx 160 if it was at the right price.

just checked on the tank, everything looks good except one of my mushrooms(the green one that doesnt grow or split).

fed the 30 gallon some mysis, copperband liked it, anthias didnt.

here is a quick pick of the copperbanded

the CBB likes mysis and the anthias goes crazy over frozen cyclops

i watched him eat and pick at everything for 20 min strait, i am hoping for the best and will be building my new setup around him. the anthias is so funny darting around everywere its like a fat overgrown firefish.

looks like the CBB is a little picky about the mysis, it only eats about half of what i offer. going to try hikari brand tomorrow. so far i have been able to feed 4 times a day, small feedings tho. my skimmer on that tank has never pulled much, after 2 days of all those feedings its finally getting a good amount of skim head on it lol

i know what this thread is lacking.....photos!!!!
