Happy New Year to you and to all of my "RC Buddies"!

I hope everyone has a good 2010 and that the activity on RC highlights some shining tanks!

Kara and I have stated our <a href="http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showpost.php?p=16345001&postcount=344" target=_blank>Hobby New Year's Resolutions</a>...hopefully our activities will inspire others to do the same. :)

well comming up on 2 years of reefing next month, got a new toy last month a nikon d40, been playing around with it shooting free hand but i will start trying to shoot with a stand soon. trying to get the right color but even with changing the WB its still not right. going to start saving up for a new lens so i can take some macro shots but here are a couple of shots of my pbt and my cbb. (thought my glass was clean but after taking some shots i can tell it really wasnt lol)

I read somewhere how to adjust the white balance so the colors arne't so blue. I think it was in the photography forum.

i am using photoshop to try and adjust the color but i am still learning how to use it. a couple more hours of reading and i hope to get it down.

I would like to learn how to do this too. I'm shooting with a Canon Rebel XT, what are you reading to learn how to do this?

well time for a quick update, i was sick 3 weeks ago and didnt go upstairs to check on my tank much and my wife was feeding the tank. i finally made it upstairs(worse cold of my life) to feed my tank, i killed the pumps and dropped the food in, everyone is eating but someone was missing....my CBB shyguy :(

i looked around the tank moved rocks ect for 2 days, i have not seen him or a body in 3 weeks :sad1:

i have no idea what happend, he was eating a variety of frozen food, so maybe he just kicked it or my PBT finally got fed up and took him out. since i was sick 2 days was more then plenty of time to take care of the body.
i guess i will never know.

new lights+ photoshop + time = pic time
